Pizza + Music

Basically, I fail at blogging. Its been like a whole month. Or more. But here I am again :)

On Saturday night I went to Organ Stop Pizza! It is my new favorite restaurant! I haven't been there since junior high, and I forgot how much I love that place. If you haven't been there I would recommend it in a heartbeat! There is a HUGE organ with soooo many pipes and instruments connected to it. You can make requests for songs and this AMAZING organists plays your requests from memory! I could not help being amazed at how good this organist was. It blew my mind. He played some of my favorite music too: Beauty and the Beast, Star Wars, Mission Impossible, Toccata and Fugue, and an epic arrangement of Flight of the Bumblebee. It was sooo awesome! Plus I learned that the organ is called a Mighty Wurlitzer and the one at that restaurant was the largest in the world!

The Mighty Wurlitzer!

Just a few of the pipes!

This is the organist that played on Saturday night!

....Life.....and Christmas!!

Basically life has been changing. Mostly the change has been good but there have been some changes that have been really hard to make. Let me just say that I am so blessed to have the best friends EVER!! All of the people in my life are so amazing, I'm not sure how I got so lucky to rub shoulders with them! So thank you to all of my friends and those who been there for me when I just needed someone to listen :)

Also, Christmas time is finally here!!!!! This is definitely my favorite part of the year. First of all I love Christmas music. If there was no Christmas music on the radio, at home, or at church, Christmas would not be the same!

I also LOVE the lights at Christmas time. And yes, I do count houses with Christmas lights when I'm in the car :) I love to go to the temple lights! If you haven't ever been to see the lights at the LDS temple you should definitely go this year!!  --->  http://www.mesachristmaslights.com/

My other favorite part of Christmas is the food!!! There are super yummy treats everywhere! (especially at work where I promise you they are trying to fatten us up!) Hot chocolate and blankets and late night movies make winter time sooo perfect!

So basically thats my scoop on Christmas :) I LOVE IT!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Randomness

So here is what has been happening in my life lately...

The Death of the Red Box:
I recently got a new phone, and I let my brother use my old phone. But this wasn't just any phone. It was my very first phone, one that I had for almost 5 years. My brother goes and breaks it!!! Not. Cool.

Basically I was a little devastated! I know its just a phone, but I get kinda attached :(

On a happier note, ITS FALL!!!!!!!!!
I found this leaf that I thought it was pretty sweet! These are definitely not good pictures, but it had really cool coloring!

Also, the weather has been sooo gorgemous!! The clouds have been soo pretty, and I couldn't help taking pictures of these from my car window :)

Pretzels are one of my favorite snacks! Today we had waffle pretzels. These are the funnest to make shapes out of!! So I created some shapes!

I found these pretzels just like this. I think I might have to eat them last :)

Homecoming

Okay, so on Saturday my brother went to homecoming. They had the dinner at our grandparents clubhouse and I got to help out and be a chaperon with my parents. It was soo much fun! But since the guys planned the whole thing, they didn't plan on any tablecloths or decorations. Me and my friend fixed that.

I think it turned out pretty good. And everyone had fun (I hope :D) so it was worth staying up till midnight!

D-backs, Light Rail, and Burritos

So after work today, I went to the Diamondback and Dodgers game with one of my friends! We rode the light rail and I've never been on it when its that crowded! Don't worry. We were some of the lucky people sitting down :D

Well the next part was getting into at the ball park and finding our seats! Apparently it was a challenge to get to section 303 row 13 cause we walked around the first floor for a while till we found the elevator. Then we walked around almost the entire third floor before we realized going the other way would have taken about a fourth of the time. It was really hilarious!
Then we found our seats and the group we were with had burritos!!! Bean and cheese :) I was starving, so it was gone in no time. The game was really long and I forgot how much I love baseball!
The D-backs lost, but it was fun to just be there. I was so exhausted afterward though! Sleeping in tomorrow is going to be lovely.

Long Time No Blog!

Hello. It has been a while. Basically I am now a sophomore in college. Seriously, that creeps me out on soo many levels. I still feel like I should be in high school. But...here I am. This year is going to be very awesome. I'm taking 15 credit hours and working towards majoring in Family and Human Development. So far I LOVE it!

Today was super muggy and NASTY! But I am hoping the weather will cool off in time for Halloween! Also today was my first Psychology test! I was kinda scared but now its over with and I can breathe!

Well, for now that's all for now. Adios amigos!

Four weeks of Biology

So I decided that today I needed to write on my blog since I haven't in FOREVER! Don't worry though, World Domination is in progress! I haven't had much to write about, but I am taking a four week summer school Biology class. I feel that there are 10 requirements that must be met in order to take a four week Biology class. If you fall under one or more of them, feel free to take the class:

(1) You have already taken the class
(2) You love to stay up late studying
(3) You are willing to learn most of the material on your own
(4) You have an hilariously amazing friend to take the class with
(5) You are capable of sitting in boring lectures for up to 2 hours
(6) You have lab partners who are super smart and super fun
(7) You can wake up early enough to be at school at 7:00 am
(8) You don't mind having school off on Fridays
(9) You have a teacher who doesn't ramble on and on about nothing
(10) You bring Sudoku for lecture and Skip-bo for down time

So that is my input on a Biology condensed into four weeks. In case you're wondering, it shouldn't be attempted under normal circumstances
